During this training, tools will be provided in assisting caregivers with crisis de-escalation, reinforcement strategies, and approaches to avoid. Attendee interaction and role play will be encouraged. Opportunities for both over-the-phone and face-to-face crisis intervention will be displayed. Presented by the Crisis Response Project (CRP), the training is intended for Direct Support Professionals, Administrators, friends, and family members.
