Marisa earned her Bachelor of Psychology and her Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Marisa joined CRP in August of 2008 as a Crisis Counselor and moved on to launch CRP’s first crisis team in Los Angeles in July of 2012. Marisa has worked with the developmentally disabled population since 1998. Previous to working with the crisis team, Marisa has worked as a counselor, teacher, DSP, and IHSS worker. She specializes in working with non-verbal clients with autism. Marisa speaks Spanish.
