Mel

Mel earned his Bachelors of Arts in Latino Studies with a Minor in Criminal Justice. Previous to joining CRP, Mel was employed as a Facility Manager in a residential group home for at-risk probation youth. Mel has also worked with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents that required acute mental health therapy. Mel had the opportunity to work with consumers that have autism, cerebral palsy, and mental illness. In addition, Mel worked as a Supervisor in the psychiatric ward in a locked down level 14 setting with severe emotional and suicidal ideation consumers in the Greater Los Angeles area. Mel is fluent in Spanish and joined the CRP team in January 2018.
